Dana Taylor, CPA


Our Team

Dana is a Certified Public Accountant, is Certified in Financial Forensics, and earned the Michigan School Business Officials CFO certificate. Dana served as Director of Business and Technology for twelve years with Grand Blanc Community Schools, the second largest public school district in Genesee County. Each year, with her direction, Grand Blanc Community Schools achieved both the Meritorious Budget Award and the award for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report from the Association of School Business Officials International.

Dana specializes in school district audits and consulting. In addition to her experience in the public school setting, Dana has public accounting experience in forensic auditing, income tax return preparation, and corporate restructuring. She also served for four years as the Financial Controller for a large multi-state temporary employment service. She is extensively involved in the school district and non-profit audits that the firm conducts, serving as a manager on those engagements.

Dana is a graduate of the University of Michigan – Flint with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and holds a Masters of Public Administration degree from the University of Michigan – Flint. Dana is a member of the MACPA and the AICPA.
